Time to Take Action to Get That Healthy Body

My friends and I are very much the same, we spend hours flicking through magazines, longing for the bodies which we see in them and being jealous of anyone who has lost significant amounts of weight. We are not excusably over weight but we could all do with getting our bodies in a far healthier place. After too much time talking we have all decided to take some action to finally get our health and our bodies in shape and today I’m going to tell you my plan and perhaps you will be inspired to do the same.

Alterations

Being healthy and having a good body, for me, is all about feeling beautiful in my own skin, to help me to that end the first thing that I’m going to do is have a little liposuction. It may sound extreme but there are simply some areas of fat on my body which would be incredibly difficult to remove so I’m going to give myself a head start. My local clinic Sono Bello offers a great service and very good rates and I know that once I have invested in my body then it will give the inspiration to continue in my pursuit towards a healthy life.

Water

As with most activities or changes which you can make to help you have a healthier life, I know exactly what I should be doing, I just don’t do it. One such area is drinking enough water, the benefits that drinking my daily quota of 2-3 liters a day are going to work wonders for my skin, my energy levels, my sleep pattern and my overall health and I have even downloaded an application on my phone to help me stay on track with my water intake.

Smoking

I’m not a heavy smoker but I’m very much aware that even one per day is too much and I have already quit my habit. I knew that the smell was bad, it did incredible damage to my health, my teeth and the color of my fingers and although it took a while, I have finally kicked the habit. If you have any designs on getting a healthy body then the smokes need to go.

Drinking

A glass or two of wine at the end of the day was normal practice for me, sometimes even a bottle and whilst I don’t intend to completely stop drinking altogether, I have decided to ditch the daily habit which was putting empty calories into my body and opt instead to drink my water. Even though alcohol simulates feeling de stressed, the negatives that it gives your body only mean that you feel a little more wound up the next morning.

Exercise

My friends and I have created a low intensity, high energy workout which we plan to follow three times weekly. If you are looking to get a healthier body then I would recommend that you do the same and even better, do it with friends so that you can help and motivate each other as you seek out a new you.
